At Premiere Cinemas, we strive to provide the best state-of-the-art motion picture entertainment.  Our goal is a clean, fun and entertaining movie-going experience.  Either sitting in our Digital Sound, wall-to-wall screened auditoriums or visiting our concession for fresh hot buttery popcorn or cool refreshing beverages, we are committed to your satisfaction.

In 1994, Premiere Cinemas began construction in Hollister, and the doors opened on May 26, 1995.  The first ticket sold was an adult ticket for the 7pm showing of "While You Were Sleeping" for the price of $6.25.

A group of Hollister residents who tired of more commuting to enjoy a first-run "real" movie-going experience, decided to build a 5-plex theater in Hollister.  Today, these same residents of Hollister are the stockholders of Premiere Cinemas.  Premiere Cinemas expanded in 1999 to now include 6 screens in Hollister, and again in 2001 by opening up a new 6-screen state-of-the-art, stadium-seating complex in Los Banos.

While our original idea was to provide family entertainment close to home, Premiere Cinemas will grow again to meet the needs of the two expanding communities.  In 2002, Premiere Cinemas will start the expansion to 8 screens in Hollister featuring stadium seating, bigger screens, and all digital sound.  We invite the communities of Hollister and Los Banos to book mark their local cinema page and visit often.

Again, we look forward to providing the best value and presentation for your movie going experience.

Premiere Cinemas thanks you for your continued patronage.
